Brittany Murphy's Death Caused by Pneumonia and Drug Intoxication

The report is out on Brittany Murphy's autopsy and looks like the poor girl accidentally killed herself. Brittany died of pneumonia, anemia, and drug intoxication according to the coroners report released today but a former NY chief medical examiner disqualifies the report about the cause of death being sickness and blames it more on the prescription drug intoxication.

"It sounds more like it's a drug-related than a natural pulmonary pneumonia," said the former medical examiner, "One doesn't die of pneumonia, usually, that quickly."

In a TMZ report, they are calling her death 'preventable' where they say that the Los Angeles Coroners office believe her condition was 'treatable' but no one took her to the hospital. Apparently instead, Brittany Murphy tried to self medicate mixing a lot of prescription drugs and over-the-counter meds that eventually lead her to her death.
