Heidi Klum: From Supermodel to Superhero

(Oahu, HI) Supermodel Heidi Klum quickly changed from glam to rescue mode when her youngest son, Henry, and two of her nannies got swept off to sea by a riptide that had everyone screaming for help.

It all happened on a serene day out on an Oahu shore, where Heidi Klum, and her happy family were enjoying their spring vacay in the middle of the day, when out of nowhere, Heidi's oldest son Henry and the two nannies that were playing with him in the ocean, got swept off to sea to Heidi's horror.

A day before the scare, Heidi Klum, tweeted this picture along with the caption 'peaceful'

Her hunky bodyguard boyfriend, Martin, who was watching Henry and the nannies play from shore,  jumped into rescue mode and swam off to try to help the frightened group.

Unaware that the riptide was not done doing it's damage, Martin attempted to pull everyone out of the ocean only to be pulled in by its force along with everyone else.

At this time, Heidi Klum and her dad, ran into the ocean, Heidi's dad, dragging the youngest nanny from the ocean, as Heidi swims to grab her son Henry and rescue him from the unpredictable island ocean tide.

She then drops her son off near the beach where he swims off to shore, and she runs without thinking twice, to rescue her other nanny who still fighting for her life in the ocean.

Meanwhile, Martin is pictured literally crawling out of the ocean, out of breath and looking like he almost lost his life and he knows it.

Heidi Klum drags the nanny to shore, only to run over to give Martin some water and check on the status of everyone involved.

Soon after, Heidi Klum and her frightened but grateful family packed their stuff and understandably called it a day.

Entertainment Tonight got the exclusive rights of the dramatic shots and also got in contact with Heidi Klum who confirmed her scary moment in the ocean and told them -

"We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water. Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely."

We are glad to see that nothing terrible happened to Heidi Klum or her precious family.  Goes to show you that Heidi Klum is a 'super' model all the way around.
