'Aroused' Documentary Gives Revealing Look Into the Porn Industry

(Los Angeles, CA) The thought provoking documentary, "Aroused", gives a revealing look into the world of pornography from the women's perspective of this often misunderstood world.

The documentary follows the 16 top women adult stars of today while they get ready for a photo shoot by photographer Deborah Anderson.  She was also the director and interviewer of the documentary.

The porn stars of the film are adamant that they are in charge of their careers and they call the shots of their show and in fact they love having sex and could of had different careers if they so had choose.  

They openly talk about the glamorous and un-glamourous side of being porn stars and being confused by why many people get aroused and turn-off by them at the same time.

Although the porn stars claim to have full control of their careers, one of the film stars talks about being emotionally scarred by having to do a scene that she wasn't informed of, even though the rest of the cast and crew knew what was happening. 

The harrowing scene included her having to drink semen from a straw from 12 men in a cup and how violated it made her feel.

Also prevalent, the spread of STD's even though they now go through rigorous STD testing, and in CA, they are now required to use condoms.  

One of the girls says that she just assumes most people she will do a scene with have Herpes, while another says that she believes that is the reason they get paid the big bucks. Porn stars put their lives at risk each and every time they do a scene because they could potentially contract an STD.

This film is revealing to 'civilians', (this is what porn stars have nick named regular people who are not in the industry), and it will have you wondering if women in porn are victims or willing participants.

It will open up that conversation and will somewhat kill the stigma that these women are victims, because if you are to watch the film, that's what they want you to believe by what they are saying.

If that is the truth in reality, that's a whole other story.
