Hate Crimes against paparazzi are on the rise

It is really unfortunate, but true, more and more paparazzi are getting physically hurt for doing a job that is perfectly legal but socially unacceptable. Just this past weekend, a crowd of paparazzi were both physically and verbally abused by some local surfers in Malibu. The paparazzi were taking photographs of Matthew McConaughey when they were approached by the overzealous surfers. Although there are a lot of unprofessional paparazzi lately, these paparazzi were shooting Matthew from very far away with 600 long lenses. To give you an idea of how far the paparazzi were from Matthew, you need to be about a football field distance from your subject to be able to photograph with this lens. These crazy, drunk surfers were just looking to perform violent crimes on these guys just because they were paparazzi. If you ask me, that is a certified Hate crime. The local police did nothing about the incident even though the paparazzi had proof in video that the surfers were the ones that instigated and started the physical fight. The rich people of Malibu think they own the beach, well guess what, in California there are "no" private beaches. They are all public. I am sure the paparazzi will take legal action against these losers and the malibu police department.
