Madonna, Lourdes, Rocco, and David in Malawi to finalize adoption

In spite of controversy, Madonna has landed in Malawi with her family to finalize the adoption of Mercy James. A 3 year old little girl who has been living in an orphanage since her 18 year old mother died while giving her birth. The foundation, Save the Children, is opposed to Madonna adopting this particular little girl because they say she still has family in Malawi. Madonna has ignored the controversy and is still proceeding with the adoption plans.
Madonna has also bought a piece of land where she plans to build a school modeled after Oprah's school in Africa, but instead of making the locals happy, they are up in arms because the land is where they do their crops every year and they are being forced out. When asked if she was worried about the land controversy, Madonna responded "No!"
