A Malawi judge had denied Madonna the adoption rights to adopt a little girl in that country called Mercy James. The judge denied Madonna on the grounds that she has not lived in the country 18 mos. as required by law. With the adoption for David, Madonna was given the rights to take him even though she hadn't been in the country for the required amount of time. A shocked Madonna plans to appeal the ruling.
