A Legend Passes Away: Elizabeth Taylor Dead at 79

Image via WikipediaLegendary actress Elizabeth Taylor has past away at the Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.  The loved classic actress had been suffering from congestive heart failure most of her latter life and was known for her work professionally as well as charitable.


Before there was saint Angelina Jolie, there was Elizabeth Taylor.  The first celebrity that started the charity movement around the world.  She was a longtime advocate for AIDS research and used her celebrity towards the cause.


Just a few months back, Elizabeth Taylor was shot coming out a medical building in her wheelchair hooked up to an oxygen machine.  Taylor being the classy lady that she was, had a face full of make-up, was wearing her trademark diamonds, and was carrying her little dog on her lap.  Although the situation looked dire back then, it was later announced by her people that she was recovering and would be doing okay.
Unfortunately, those news were short lived, and Elizabeth Taylor was taken back to Cedar-Sinai hospital for complications with her condition.


The media began to buzz about Elizabeth's possible last moments last night, and the worst news came true this morning.  The legend had past away.  Elizabeth Taylor was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren when she passed and was said to have done it peacefully.
