Image via WikipediaActress Reality star, Tori Spelling got into a car accident and ran into a wall because she didn't want to have her picture taken.
Tori Spelling was dropping her kids off at school, when she decided that she wanted to loose the paparazzi who wanted to take her picture.
Tori Spelling proceeded to make chase all the way to her kids school, where she accidentally ran into the wall of the school when she was leaving.
When Tori Spelling had her minor accident, the photographer started taking more pictures and that made Tori so upset she tweeted about it.
The odd part is no one was chasing her on the way out, she just tried so desperately to avoid being photographed that she made an error in judgment. According to sources, the paparazzo was apparently on foot and was not chasing her at the time of the accident.
Before you jump to conclusions about the photog, a photo journalist has the job to photograph whatever is in front of them and not be bias towards any story.
Just like in war, a photo journalist has to take pictures of the aftermath of war, whether it's gruesome or not. So does a paparazzo have to take pictures of celebrities even if it's not in the kindest light. The story is what it is without the help of the paparazzi.
Tori Spelling blames the whole incident on the paparazzi even though she backed up and hit the wall...
Tori Spelling tweeted- "Paparazzi chased me w/the kids 2school," she wrote on the social networking site. "I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident. Took down whole wall of school. He thn STILL got out to try to get pics. 10 school moms chased him away. Wht will it take? Someone dying for paparazzi to stop? Going to dr now to check on baby. I think its just shock."
(Don't you love that she had enough time to tweet about it before heading to the hospital?!")

Before making any more statements about this incident, PaparazziDiaries does not approve or condone paparazzi who act in an aggressive manner towards a celebrity.
However, let's make something clear. For a celebrity to be chased, they have to be doing the aggressive driving to begin with.
A paparazzo cannot chase the celeb if they are going the normal speed limit and following all the laws. The chase begins when celebrities try to take the law into their own hands and try to loose the paparazzi that are following them. They begin to run red lights, make sudden turns, slow down on freeways to 10 mph, etc. If Tori Spelling were to be going 5 mph, the paparazzi would have to be driving even slower so that they don't pass her.
It is clear to us that Tori Spelling was having one of those day, and she just plainly did not feel like having her picture taken. If Tori Spelling was a private person, she would not have a 'reality' show where people literally follow her every move.
Just two weeks ago, Tori Spelling with her husband Dean and children, showed off her very pregnant belly to photographers in paparazzi central Malibu. She wore a very revealing bikini, showed off her bulging belly and had no trouble having her pics taken.
As a celebrity, you cannot invite the audience into your home and then expect the paparazzi to stay away. Paparazzi have the job to photograph celebrities in their normal lives, however, paparazzi are "only" interested if the public is interested. Otherwise, they stick to newsworthy stories because those get the most coverage.
It is frustrating to have celebrities blame the paparazzi for their own doings- example Tori blaming the paparazzi because she ran into the wall. It was Tori's decision to act in the manner she did, that ended her in a car crash. If she chose to put her visor down, avoid looking at the camera, and went about her business, this accident wouldn't have happened.
It is not worth the time of a paparazzo to shoot celebrities who make it difficult to photograph them, paparazzi also have mouths to feed. It is worthless to work on someone who doesn't let themselves be photographed because there are too many others who will. Unless they are mega famous like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the interest to work on them goes out the door for a paparazzo.
Tori Spelling needs to wake-up and smell the coffee, and realize that fame is not something you turn on and off. You cannot go to paparazzi central Malibu, have your pic with your family taken, have a reality show and then decide the next day you don't want it.
There are many, many celebrities that are hugely famous but have control over the paparazzi because they do not expose themselves in that way. They let their talent do the talking, and then move out of town so that they will not be photographed or followed. Perfect examples of this is Oprah (how many times have you seen candid shots of Oprah?!) and Jennifer Aniston who makes it nearly impossible to photograph her because she goes underground or always has an exit strategy.
The celebrities that are hounded to no avail are the ones, that for one reason or another, have sparked some sort of interest in the public and the public loves them soo much that they will pay big bucks to see them in any sort of way.
The vast majority of celebrities only get photographed when they are in locations where paparazzi are. Then, the exact same celebs, complain about being photographed even though they placed themselves in the situation.
At the end of the day, Tori Spelling made a mistake in her calculations and ran into the wall so the paparazzo couldn't get the shot. It was not the paparazzo who was taking the picture that pushed her gas pedal and made her crash.
Next time, Tori, maybe try the old trick of covering your face or putting your face down instead of making chase and running into walls. Oh yeah! and stay away from paparazzi hotspots if you don't want your pic taken.

Tori Spelling can put her family and dirty laundry on the air, but she cannot have her picture taken by the paparazzi. As long as she is doing it, it's fine, right?! NOT. Remember what your mom said "You can't have your cake and eat it too."
