Dr. Conrad Murray: Guilty as Charged!

Getty Images Dr. Conrad Murray met his fate today, after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.  Dr. Conrad Murray looked somber as he waited for his conviction, while his lawyers waited nervously to hear the result from the jurors.

Around 1:00 PM, the judgment was ready and Dr. Conrad Murray couldn't have looked more stunned when the guilty verdict came in, even getting startled by a  sheriff that came to arrest him.

Dr. Conrad Murray defense team attempted to get him to be released while he waits for his sentencing, but the judge wasn't having it.  He let them know various different reasons why he thought that Dr. Conrad Murray should remain under the custody of the court.  His main reason, public safety.

It looks like Dr. Conrad Murray wont be spending one last holiday season with his family.  Might as well, his life was probably in jeopardy of coming across some deranged fan who wants to take justice into their own hands.

At last, Michael Jackson gets his name cleared.  It is obvious by the trial, that Michael, although an addict, did not dispense that finally dose of Propofol that ended up taking his life.
