Lindsay Lohan Will Serve Less than 24 Hours

Image via WikipediaImage via WikipediaToday it may have seemed that actress Lindsay Lohan got what she had coming for a long time, but further couldn't be from the truth.  According to TMZ, Lindsay is about to or will be released in less than 24 hours, all because of jail overcrowding in the California jail system.

Lindsay was sentenced to serve 30 days of jail time, no but or if's about it, except if required by law.

To Lindsay's delight, the law requires it according to law enforcement.  Two different officials told TMZ:
"because of overcrowding they immediately release inmates sentenced to less than 90 days."-TMZ

There we thought Lindsay was owning up to her wrongdoings, but it's apparent it's just loophole her legal team already knew about.  The only reason she owned up to any responsibility was because deep inside she already knew she would be getting out without a scratch.

Were not saying we want Lindsay in jail or anything, but there are a lot of people who have to stay in jail for a lot less offenses.

Maybe Lindsay regained some of her luck, after losing it in "Just My Luck" back in 2006.
