Heidi Klum and Seal Calling it Quits

(Los Angeles, CA) Project Runway Heidi Klum and singer husband Seal are calling it quits after 7 years of marriage.  The power couple have always seemed to be in a great marriage, so its a surprise they are calling it quits.

Less than a month ago in Aspen, CO, the duo brought their whole brood to enjoy a few days of skiing for the holidays.  At the time of the trip there were no apparent rips in the marriage and everything seemed to be business as usual for this family.  Both Heidi and Seal were spotted wearing their wedding bands and were still very affectionate towards each other.

TMZ were the first to report on Heidi's plans to file for divorce from her husband citing irreconcilable differences.  The popular celebrity blog is reporting that although it's a surprise to the public, this divorce was long coming since Heidi couldn't handle Seal's uncontrollable temper.

Heidi and Seal released an official statement through People.com stating-

"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.

"We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.

"We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."

Heidi and Seal still wearing their wedding bands less than a month ago in Aspen.
