Los Angeles major, Eric Garcetti, has rung the alarm and has said 'California is in a state of emergency' because he thinks it's about to loose reign as the Entertainment Capital of the World and the revenue that goes with it.

Along with bragging rights, Los Angeles would loose out because the entertainment industry not only brings hundreds of jobs to Angelos, but it also brings major talent who usually provides additional jobs to the area, and keeps Los Angeles in the public eye.
The Los Angeles paparazzi have noticed the change, having to travel more often than not when they have to cover movie sets and also not having as much work in Los Angeles, related to the film industry.
With the over saturation of paparazzi in Los Angeles area, the moving of filming to other states and overseas, the paparazzi industry is suffering also. Where paparazzi could count on receiving decent pay for a newsworthy story, now they are counting pennies to make ends meet.
It is in the best interest of all Californians to bite the bullet somewhere else and give the tax cuts other states and countries are offering so we can keep Hollywood where Hollywood belongs.
