UPDATE: Paul Walker Car Speeding but Not Racing

(Los Angeles, CA) Concrete details about the fiery crash that took Paul Walker's life have emerged and so far it seems that speed was a factor in the deathly accident but they were not racing during the time of the crash.

The car explosion was caught by a security camera and it shows the car for a split second before the impact and then the massive explosion that follows.  Within minutes you see cars pulling up to the scene and various people running towards the accident.

The driver has been identified as professional driver, Roger Rodas, 38, and is said to have been testing out the car because it was stalling at the auto shop he owned and Rodas wanted to find out why.

It has also been reported that Paul Walker jumped in at the last minute, telling his friend Rojas, "let me go with you real quickly", after Rojas allegedly said, "Why is the car stalling? Let's take it around the block", reports the UK's Daily Mail.

Paul Walker, who was only 40 years old at the time of his death, is said to have been a speed enthusiast and even revealed once that he had topped speed over 180 mph on the freeway but had not done so in a professional track while he was testing out a Nissan GT-R for GT Channel.

Their mutual friends, who arrived at the scene within minutes of the accident, desperately tried to save their friends, one even punched a firefighter to try to get around him, but the fireman knew their efforts were futile and would only hurt them instead.

The coroner is performing the autopsy and needed their dental records to be able to identify the badly burnt bodies.
