Salma Hayek breastfeeds in public and not her own baby

Paparazzi hating Salma Hayek took a trip to a village in Africa and did a very humbling deed, she breast fed one of the malnourished babies from the village. Salma openly in a circle of villagers received a baby and breastfed while the village and camera crew watched on. Salma had mixed feelings about her good deed thinking that she was stealing milk from Valentina but then changed her mind thinking back to a story her Grandmother told her about her great Grandmother feeding a hungry baby just the way she just had and how it was a great deed.

Coming from a Hispanic background, I can completely see where Salma Hayek is coming from. In our culture, its completely natural to breastfeed a baby till they are 18mos old because its the best nourishment available for a growing baby. In poverish countries, it still better for the baby to drink mommy's milk then to drink the water-down milk that the other kids in the family are drinking. Most mothers have to work to help the family survive, so there are surrogate mothers who will work just feeding newborns while mom is away. It might be very shocking in America to see Salma feeding someone else's baby but if you think about it, its just a kind human act.
