Julie and Julia where she portrays famed America cook Julia
Childs. Meryl has been nominated for the 12
th but she has only taken home 2. She took the record previously set by equally talented actor
Jack Nicholson and the late
Katherine Hepburn. If Meryl finally takes home the Oscar for best actress, she will finally end her 27 year curse where she has been nominated but hasn't won the Oscar.
