Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy Split Up

Comedian Jim Carry and girlfriend Jenny McCarthy have ended their 5 year relationship amicably.  The funny couple have been great together over the years and have not faced media scrutny about their relationship, so it's a surprise they have decided to split up.
Just this past Valentines day, Jenny McCarthy displayed her love in the sky literally when she hired a plane to write I love You Jim by their Malibu home.  Not to long ago, Jenny was also asked about how she felt about becoming a grandmother, (Jim's oldest daughter just had a baby), and she said "I think I'm gonna rock as a grandma!"

Both parties confirmed their split on their twitter accounts stating:

Jim- "Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I'm grateful 4 the many blessings we've shared and I wish her the very best! S'okay! ?;^>"

Jenny- "Im so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart."

It's nice to see a Hollywood couple splitting amicably but it leaves room for suspicion.  Is this just a big cover up for a 'secret' wedding and the joke is on us. We will soon find out.
