Bitter actress Jodie Foster recently went into hot water for shoving a teenage fan who wanted to take her picture.  According to the teens dad and police report, the boy and a friend were walking around the shopping center the Grove, when they spotted Jodie Foster and wanted to take her picture.  When Jodie Foster spotted them taking her picture, she went berserk and grabbed the teenage boy by the arm and said "Do you even have a mother you slime ball?'"

The Panic Room actress has been known to be especially nasty to the paparazzi, even throwing sand in their faces and cameras, so it's no surprise that she would react in a physical way.  However, her story just doesn't add up.  Here is a statement her rep released:

"This guy was most definitely a professional paparazzo," the actress's rep tells PEOPLE. "He had a large camera bag and 1000mm telephoto lens. He tailed Jodie and followed her all the way from the movie theater to the valet."

This statement would be believable and all, except for the part where she claims the boy had a '1000 mm telephoto lens'.  For the boy to have had that lens, a) he would have to have been super strong because the size of that lens is huge, and B) He could most definitely not be able to use that lens casually because of its ridiculous size.  It needs a tripod for it to even work.  So, for the lens to fit into this teens bag, it would have to have been a bag the size of carry on luggage.

Example of a 500mm lens (not even a 1000mm lens)

The teens dad responded to Jodie Foster statement, by saying “That’s ridiculous! He's not a paparazzo! He's just a kid who happens to have a nice camera.”
It is Beverly Hills area after all, teenage kids here have cars that could pay most peoples mortgages.  For the teen to have had a nice camera, it is 'not' uncommon.
Radar Online has made their own personal investigation into the matter, and they claim that as far as they can see, the boy has no ties to the paparazzi.
What can be believed is that Jodie Foster actually did believe that this boy was a paparazzo but made a grave mistake and it was actually a fan.
As usual, the celebrity is using the paparazzi to blame for their own wrongdoings, but this time it might backfire for once.
