Jessica Simpson is Heartbroken Over Nick Lachey's Engagement

Jessica Simpson has once again had her heartbroken by her ex-husband Nick Lachey, but this time it's because he is ready to marry his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo.  Jessica Simpson broke Nick's heart when she announced she wanted a divorce, and soon after Nick found his new love Vanessa. 
It has not been an easy road for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Mannillo however.  The two have had very heated fights and even broke up for a brief time last year.  Nick decided to propose because he said he didn't want to lose somebody he loves again and Vanessa couldn't be happier.
Jessica Simpson on the other hand is heart broken that her 'first' everything, (Nick was Jessica's first love, husband and lover), is ready to commit to someone else forever like he once had with her.  Perhaps she always held on to a glimmer of hope that the two would somehow end up back together. 
Poor Jess! Things never seem to work out for her.  Let's hope she can find the same happiness with someone else.
