Did Lindsay Lohan Flop on SNL?

(New York, New York)  Lindsay Lohan's much anticipated appearance on SNL did not go as well for the actress as she had hoped for.  She fumbled through her lines, even forgot some of them, and looked completely out of place at times.  During her pre-taped skits, she had a few lines to deliver but they just didn't seem funny or believable.

Her amazing acting chops as a child actor seem to have vanished along with her innocence.  Lindsay Lohan famously played twins on her starter movie 'Parent Trap' flawlessly, having no trouble remembering her lines and being a true actor.  At the time, critics and fans alike could not get enough of this child prodigy who could act so well.

It could have been that Lindsay Lohan was nervous and uncomfortable with the live audience and that caused her to fumble. 

The good news for Lindsay, however, is that although her performance was lackluster, she got amazing ratings for SNL.  So good in fact that she got the second place for the highest ratings for SNL this season.  Proving that the public interest in her still there and she has a good chance of making a comeback if she gets some professional coaching and her confidence back.  Oh yeah, and she stay out of trouble!
