Russell Brand Gets Off Easy in Paparazzi Incident

(New Orleans, Louisiana) Actor Russell Brand is getting off easy in the iPhone tossing incident where he tossed a paparazzo's phone clear across the street and into a lawyers office for taking his picture.

Russell Brand was facing up to 6 years in jail if convicted but will be getting off easy and only paying a $500 fine and doing 20 hours of community service. 

His attorney claims that Russell will be doing his community work by working with people who are battling addictions.

Russell Brand is a former drug and sex addict so he should have plenty to talk about with the people who are encountering the same issues he did.
