Mariah Carey New Idol Judge at $18 Million

Our favorite singer of all time, Mariah Carey, is officially joining the "American Idol" judge panel and it is not coming at a cheap price.

"American Idol" dished out $18 Million dollars for only one year of Mariah Carey opinion on the judge panel.  It is been reported by some entertainment outlets that Mariah is difficult to work with, but we can tell you from our personal experience that she is nothing but a professional and is always very kind to her fans.

Perhaps a Diva, yes, but in the good sense of the word.

The woman knows what she wants and knows how to get it.  Can you blame her? She is Mariah Carey after all and if she wasn't worth every penny, she wouldn't of made $6 million dollars more than J Lo did in her first year, or $4 Million more than Britney is making for the same time in "X Factor".

We couldn't be more thrilled that the diva-licious star is the next "American Idol" judge.

Now, who will replace Steven Tyler? From what we hear "American Idol" might be trying something completely new and rotating judges instead of having the 3 same ones for the whole season.
