Catherine Zeta-Jones vs. British Paparazzi: The Video

Image via WikipediaCatherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas got into a scuffle with the British paparazzi who were awaiting their arrival at their posh hotel.  

The paparazzi were lined up to make a tunnel so that the famous duo could get through into their hotel.  As Catherine neared the entrance of her hotel, she started screaming that a a paparazzo 'punched' her.  

Catherine Zeta screams during the supposed altercation, "that one right there", "which one?" Michael and the security ask confused at what just happened.  Catherine continues to scream angrily, "That one right there!"  Everyone still looking around, confused at who she is talking about.


As the video unfolds, you see the hotels security and Michael Douglas trying to figure out who she is talking about when they finally zero in on a paparazzo who is waiting on the sidelines.  Michael launches at him, telling him "It's you asshole!", as the rest of the paparazzi look on stunned.  
When Michael can't seem to figure out what to do to the paparazzo, he ends his tirade by calling all the paparazzi present "piranhas".

Although I don't condone paparazzi acting in any form aggressive towards a celebrity, this just seems to be an over reaction from Catherine Zeta-Jones part. By the looks of it, the paparazzo was trying to reposition himself to get a better shot of the famous star and bumped her with his camera as she was moving down the paparazzi tunnel.
If the paparazzo was there to create a problem, he would have pushed her, gotten his shots, and gotten out of there.  He would not sit around, like this paparazzo did, and wait for them to find him and either take physical actions against him or take him to jail.  
The facts and the video don't add up.  I am not saying Catherine did not get hit, but A) I don't believe she got punched and B) it was stupid but accidental.  
Someone should hand her an Oscar for this performance.  As far as Michael is concerned, I think he was just defending his lady without knowing what the hell was really going on.
