Whitney Houston Dead at Only 48 Years of Age

(Los Angeles, CA) Singer Whitney Houston has past away in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton hotel according to TMZ.

The troubled singer was found unresponsive by a member of her team who contacted hotel security.  The hotel security called 911 and when the paramedics arrived, Houston was unresponsive to CPR.  She was pronounced dead at 3:45 PM.

It is unclear what happened because no obvious reason has been found.

Whitney Houston started her big comeback a few years back but she was not too successful at doing it, blotching her performances and appearing intoxicated while doing it.

Whitney Houston was just 48 years old.

We have lost a truly unique voice and person who just got lost at the wrong turn off the road.  May you rest in peace Whitney.  You will be terribly missed.

 *Whitney Houston was spotted partying it up last night at the Beverly Hilton hotel but did not seem to be in any imminent danger

*Whitney was supposed to open the Clive Davis famous pre-Grammy party tonight before being found dead

*TMZ is reporting that she was found in her bathtub by her bodyguard
