Miley Cyrus Got Raunchy at the VMA's : Why Is Everyone So Surprised?

(Twitter) Miley Cyrus gives a sneek-peek of what's to come at the VMA 2013 when she posted this pic on Sunday before her controversial performance.

(Brooklyn, NY)  Controversial singer, Miley Cyrus had the whole world running abuzz yesterday, when on Sunday she performed a raunchy version of her song, 'We Wont Stop' and proceeded to grind on Robin Thicke as they sang, 'Blurred Lines', at the 2013 VMA.

The controversial performance went something like this - Miley Cyrus starts out her over-the-top performance by exiting out of a giant teddy bear, where she comes out and in true Miley fashion, sticks her tongue out as far as she can, and struts herself down the steps in a raunchy outfit that consists of a furry, barely there bathing suit with a face of a mouse on front, with the mouse's ears covering Miley's breasts.

She provocatively struts her stuff down some steps and proceeds to be surrounded by giant teddy bears on stage that watch her, along with many of her shocked fans, "twerk" as she sings her theme song, 'We Wont Stop'.

The fun doesn't stop there, she continues to sing her song, and purposely face plants one of her dancers big derriere before being joined on stage by Robin Thicke.

The best part is yet to come, as Miley Cyrus backs her thing up on Robin Thicke crotch, and twerks on top of the father-of-one, for the whole world to see and caresses his big dick with a giant foam hand.

The performance at the VMA's has shocked the media and public alike, but we ask, why is everyone so shocked?

Remember this infamous picture of Miley Cyrus when she was just 16 years old that was posted on her directors twitter account?
Since then, the overly sexualized Miley Cyrus, has kept on pushing the envelope and has kept making headlines for her controversy.

Did everyone forget about that?

So when it comes down to it, why people are getting angry at Miley Cyrus for acting the way she has been acting since she was 16 is ludicrous.  It's not as if she was Hannah Montana yesterday and today she woke up looking like she did at the VMA's.  The process has been long and coming and if parents are still allowing their kids to follow Miley Cyrus as an idol it's their own fault.  It's not like the blurred lines weren't already there!
