Paparazzi as Icon Figures

Paparazzi have been around since celebrities were created.  Where celebrities go, you will find the paparazzi.  Often hated but revered for their work, paparazzi have a unique perspective on celebrities and their real lives.
HBO is looking into the fascinating world of paparazzi by doing documentary called "Smash His Camera", where they will be portraying a famous paparazzo who has left his mark in the history books.
It has always been fascinating to see celebrities in their real lives and to capture their life through my lens.  Even more fascinating, has been going to any grocery store, whether it's in Kentucky or L.A., and seeing my work on the magazines by the check out stand.  To be a celebrity, it takes a certain kind of person, to be a paparazzi, it takes an extraordinary one.
